whoa! it is working again! without the smilie face! thank the LORD.
so it is “dia de Namorado” or otherwise translated, make like miserable for those who do not like chocolate or someone special to spend the day with (aka “boyfriend/girlfriend day–their version of Valentine’s day). But Neto gave me a heart (well, it looks more like a triangle, but he is only 5…)and i feel special. more importantly, Brasil plays their first game in the world cup tomorrow. the whole world as i know it will pause for a couple of hours. cool. and i was very shamed by how the US played today. bleh.
Anna is here! and so we all took her on a bus trip to Timbauba where we all got sick sitting in the very back. Anna and Karine got their legs waxed and stuff. i didn’t. i don’t
like pain.
this is Anna looking tough. this is me trying to look…tough? i dunno.

Don’t you love Anna’s multi-colored eyes? i think she would kill me if she knew this was here. so look quick before she makes me take it off. i was trying to give her a kiss. i invaded her “bubble.”
Anna said she looked high in one eye. is that possible? oh well. i look rather nice. as you can see, i am rather happy to have Anna in Brasil with me. oh yeah.
we had a great time helping out at the couple’s dinner thingy in Timbauba. my boys (Raul and Diego) were pretty excited about meeting Anna too. Not that she is enjoying herself. not at all.

Hehe, I loved the pictures- felt like I was reading a story! Well, I guess I am.. the Story of your life! I’m glad Anna gets to be there with you.. I’ll have to have her tell me about it when she gets home. How long is she staying? Have a great week Rachel!
YAY for pictures!
Seems like you both are having lots of fun… without me and Erica there. Thats ok, we’re still having fun at the center, unless were arguing.
Anyway, I tried to sneak into the animal luggage part of the plane, Anna, but they caught me… now I’m never aloud back at an airport… j/k.
Miss you both… see you soon, i hope.

hey, rachel and anna. it’s funny that you sisters are together and we sisters are together. it’s great to have sisters and be together- isn’t it? i’m loving having rachel around ,. i feel more at home- eccept for the whole winzeler’s down the alley thing. i really miss that. i hope that you girls have a blast together i’m pretty sure that you already are.
oh rachel, i wanted to talk to you about a family here- that is moving to san diego. my friend tylinn and her husband are moving there because he is gonna go to school to get his doctorate ? i don’t know how to spell that, but anyway, he is gonna finish school there. he’s gonna be a counselor because his counselor in high school said that he’d never amount to anything. so, he wants to make sure that kids have good counselors in school and he’s gonna be one of them. he’s mostly native american. but he doesn’t look it. anyway, they have an almost 3 year old girl (Amara)and a baby boy (josiah). and they are gonna move in August, but they need some help finding a place to live. she’s afraid of just finding a place on the internet and they don’t have much money, since he’s been in school since they’ve been married. he works nights at walmart and will probably just transfer to a walmart near his school in san diego. they want to live close to Allient University that’s where he’s going to school, it’s north of san diego, i think, anyway, I told them about aunt Carol and uncle Lauren and how they are so lucky to get to live close to them. and i thought that maybe aunt Carol would be able to help them find a place to stay or help them find a few good options. they are mostly in need of the cheapest place available that is safe for her and her kids to be. anyway, would you try to ask aunt Carol if she’d like to help them? or you could get me their e-mail or contact number. well, i love you both, have a splendid time together, someday maybe all of us sisters will be able to hang out again someday.
