  • didn’t get to finish that last thought…they had a missions night at CCS and asked if i could help out with the kids program so they could learn about Brasil too, instead of just being ‘baby-sat’ or something. it was awesome! We played Brasil Bingo, had happy meals where i taught them some words in Portuguese, made “Bear-in-balls” (which is what the Portuguese word is for the instruments for Capoeira), learned some “Rachel” version of Capoeira, and i showed them pictures and my piranha from Brasil.

those sticks are the “bear-in-balls”…it took awhile to convince the boys they were NOT bows for arrows. amazing kids. How even more amazing to share with them how i’d been saved and baptized in that church when i was just their age, and how i’d first met a missionary named Tele and gone to Brasil…how my life was never the same…

Raise up the next generation, o God.

My CD player got stolen out of my car. the thief also received the preaching CD i was listening too that was inside it…hope they listen to it…

Been thinking about being a container of God. 1 Corinthians 6:19 if you think i am crazy. blows me away.
